Many stages of life to me were quite fun
I remember them all, but especially one
The times of laughter, when clothes didn't match
Girls had cooties and boys played catch
Way back in the day, wasn't it great?
We watched cartoons couldn't stay up late.
Seeing a movie, favorite character Wookie.
That one Street had another, a monster of cookie.
Your dad was your idol, your mom among your friends
Trying only to read books with happy ends
You'd double your savings with coins on the ground
Nickels and dimes were the best currency found.
In my mind there will always be room to fit,
Because these are the times I will never forget.
